We solve
daily struggles.
Transforming parenting and family life through small changes that make a big difference.
A no-judgment zone for your family challenges
At Inhabit, we specialize in solving those daily parenting challenges that seem minor but add up over time — from organizing troublesome spaces to finding creative solutions for active kids. By getting parents and children on the same team and working alongside other childhood professionals, we help families discover simple, often unexpected solutions that bring more harmony to their homes. Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference.
Meet our team
Elizabeth Sales
I’ve spent more than 25 years working in early childhood education, building my foundation on Canadian education principles and Montessori certification. I strongly believe in adapting environments, not children, to help them succeed in learning. These days, I’m based in Cary, NC, where I’m raising my two elementary-age kids — an experience that adds a whole new dimension to my professional insights.
My journey has taken me from running a private nursery school in small-town Canada to working in American public schools. I’ve worked extensively with both typically developing children and those with special needs, particularly focusing on autism and ADHD. I love creating specialized routines that work, breaking through negative behavior patterns, and building environments where every child can flourish.
I’m all about helping parents find their way through complex educational systems and creating support structures that actually work. I know firsthand that small changes can make a huge difference — whether that’s tweaking a daily routine or adjusting a learning environment. As both an educator and a parent, I focus on getting parents and kids working together as a team. There’s nothing better than seeing families discover solutions that really stick.

I help families transform daily challenges into opportunities for growth and connection. With over 12 years of experience as an educator and my own journey as a single mom to a 12-year-old, I understand the intricate dance of supporting children while maintaining household harmony.
My background in elementary education and special education has taught me that every child and family is uniquely beautiful – and often, the most effective solutions are surprisingly simple. I’ve worked extensively with children across various abilities and needs, from autism to ADHD, developmental delays to learning disabilities. This experience has given me an invaluable toolkit of practical strategies that can make a real difference in your daily life.
What sets me apart is my deep understanding of both the home and school environments. As a Google certified educator and experienced online teacher, I know how to bridge the gap between professional recommendations and real-world implementation. Whether it’s creating organized spaces that work for the whole family, developing routines that stick, or finding creative solutions for learning differences, I partner with you to find those small changes that make a big impact. Based in Cary, NC, I bring both professional expertise (including dual teaching certifications and extensive experience with IEPs) and real-world understanding to help get parents and kids on the same team. I believe in the power of open communication and practical solutions that honor your child’s unique needs while making family life more manageable and joyful.
